Job Description:

Alexander Lloyd is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a not-for-profit organisation on the recruitment of an HR Business Partner.

This is a 12-month FTC, covering maternity leave. You will contribute to the delivery of strategic goals by designing and embedding tools, frameworks, and approaches that enable managers and leaders to create a high-performance, high-engagement culture.

Duties:

• Design and oversee people strategies tailored to each directorate, ensuring alignment with the broader HR agenda while addressing specific workforce and cultural challenges.
• Implement policies and frameworks with consistency and practicality, balancing organisational objectives, legal compliance, and employee experience.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend data-driven actions to address emerging issues.
• Provide senior leaders with coaching and strategic advice, challenging constructively to enhance leadership capabilities.
• Maintain awareness of organisational priorities and use HR insights to inform decisions, presenting actionable solutions.
• Lead and support projects across the employee experience spectrum to advance the People & Culture strategy.
• Act as a senior escalation point for policy interpretation and support HR Advisors with complex queries.
• Ensure documentation is current and accessible to promote knowledge sharing and consistent practice.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong business acumen and ability to align people strategy with operational goals.
• Experience managing complex ER cases and supporting change initiatives.
• Experience at Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level.
