Reporting into the Head of HR, you will support the wider HR division by providing effective and solution focused HR advice, to steer and influence organisational wide change projects that are aligned to the business strategy, and the People and Culture Plan.

Key Responsibilities for the HR Business Partner - Projects:

  • Working with fellow HR Partners and with the support of the Head of HR, build professional working relationships within the HR division and across the organisation, coaching leaders and managers to influence and progress people matters.
  • Act as dedicated HR support for large organisational change projects, as required, including managing and supporting restructures.
  • Assist in the project management of organisational change projects / restructures, ensuring consistent and legally compliant application of organisational change management principles.
  • Deliver coaching/training to leaders and managers on organisational change related activity including restructuring, redeployment and redundancy.
  • Utilise systems to coordinate the recording and reporting of organisational change activity.
  • Analyse and interpret organisational change data and business metrics to inform decision making, and to draft reports relating to HR activities and trends to provide qualitative people insights and recommendations for business plans and strategy.
  • Work in collaboration with a wide range of teams, including Organisational Development, HR Operations and Finance in providing organisational change support, ensuring coordination and communication across the teams on organisational change activity.
  • Develop and maintain diverse stakeholder management relationships.
  • Work closely with other HR colleagues to implement process improvements.
  • Manage complex ER casework.

Key Requirements for the HR Business Partner - Projects:

  • You will have gained experience within similar organisational change initiatives including managing restructuring and redundancy procedures for large and complex organisations.
  • Ideally you will be fully CIPD qualified, however, this is not essential criteria.
  • It would be highly advantageous if you have previously worked for similar not-for-profit and or public sector organisations as well as gaining exposure working alongside Trade Unions, however, this is not essential criteria to be considered for this role.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels and communicate with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders.
  • It would help if you were a car driver and owner.
