Job summary

RHR is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its UK HR team in London. You’ll be the main people partner for store operations across your region, combining hands-on employee relations work with broader people initiatives to support a growing store network.

You’ll handle an ER-led caseload—disciplinaries, grievances, performance and absence management, and investigations—while coaching managers to handle issues fairly and legally.

Job description

A global fashion retailer is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join its UK HR team in London. You’ll be the main people partner for store operations across your region. The role combines hands on employee relations work with wider people initiatives that support a growing store network.

Employee relations is at the heart of this role. You’ll handle a varied and often complex caseload, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance and absence management, and investigations. You’ll be the trusted adviser to store and area managers, coaching them to handle people issues fairly, consistently and within the law. You’ll also build their confidence to manage these issues themselves. If you enjoy complex cases and can stay calm and pragmatic under pressure, you’ll fit in well here.

Alongside ER, you’ll work with learning & development and talent acquisition on leadership development, succession planning, new store openings and the graduate programme. You’ll use people data to shape decisions and contribute to pay and benefits reviews. You’ll also work closely with colleagues across the wider European HR team.

We’re looking for a CIPD-qualified HR professional, or someone with a degree in a related field, with significant HRBP or generalist experience in retail or another fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll need strong ER knowledge and a track record of managing complex cases. You’ll be commercially minded and influential with stakeholders at every level. The role pays a salary up to £65,000. There is a performance related bonus and benefits package. The role requires travel and will be a blend between working from stores, home and their Central London office.
