James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd has partnered with a major retail group to recruit an HR Business Partner in Mansfield, United Kingdom. This permanent, on-site role partners with senior leaders to deliver a proactive, commercially focused people agenda across a division.

You will lead organisation design, develop People Plans, and work with executives to improve talent attraction, retention and development, while guiding managers on employee relations and performance.

We are partnering with a major, market-leading retail group to recruit a HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. This role will support a specific division of the business, partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver a proactive and commercially focused people agenda.

Operating across multiple brands and channels, the organisation continues to experience significant growth through ongoing investment, acquisitions and large-scale transformation.

This is a full-time role offering a salary of up to £65,000, depending on experience and is fully on site.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Leading organisation design activity, ensuring structures, roles and capabilities are aligned to business objectives and future growth
• Developing and deliver People Plans for key business areas, translating the wider People Strategy into practical, measurable actions
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to improve talent attraction, retention and development, supporting robust succession planning
• Providing proactive guidance to managers on employee relations, performance and engagement to build high-performing teams
• Collaborating with specialist People teams to deliver transformational change projects and embed new ways of working
• Acting as a visible advocate for the organisation’s purpose and values, shaping a culture where behaviours align consistently
• Using data and insight to diagnose organisational issues, influence decision‑making and drive continuous improvement in people and business performance

Experience required:

• Proven HR and business partnering experience within fast-paced, multi-site and complex organisations
• Strong track record of partnering with a range of Head Office functions to deliver people solutions
• Experience operating within high-performing, customer-centric environments, ideally within retail or service-led sectors
• Broad expertise across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, retention, organisational design and engagement
• Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated capability in shaping, leading and delivering people initiatives and change projects
• Confident in interpreting data and insights to inform decisions and drive positive organisational outcomes
• Resilient, assertive and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and navigate setbacks constructively
