Job summary

Elevation HR, part of Elevation Recruitment Group, is recruiting an HR Advisor for a fast-paced FMCG site east of Wakefield. This on-site role focuses on hands-on ER casework and supporting line managers within a large group.

You will handle day-to-day HR queries, grievances and disciplinaries, support sickness/absence management, and assist with recruitment for production roles. A structured training path and career development are available

Qualifications

• HR generalist with experience handling high-volume ER cases (grievances / disciplinaries).
• Ability to coach and develop line managers on people-related matters.
• Experience supporting recruitment for production roles and coordinating interviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on a broad range of day-to-day HR queries.
• Manage employee relations cases including grievances and disciplinaries.
• Support managers with sickness and attendance; liaise with Occupational Health where needed.
• Coach line managers to effectively handle people-related matters.
• Assist recruitment for production roles and arrange interviews.
• Deliver HR training sessions for managers and teams.
• Support HR Manager with site-based and group HR projects.

Job description

Elevation HR are working with a highly successful FMCG business on the M62 corridor east of Wakefield as they look to appoint a HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a HR Advisor, you will be hands on managing an ER caseload, whilst reporting to an exceptional HR lead who will be keen to support you in your career. As part of a major group with multiple sites there will be further opportunities for you to develop your career in the future. In this fully onsite role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing advice and guidance on a broad range of day-to-day HR queries.
• Managing employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries and other HR matters.
• Supporting managers with sickness and attendance management, including liaising with Occupational Health where required.
• Coaching and developing line managers to effectively manage people-related matters.
• Supporting recruitment for production roles, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates and arranging interviews.
• Delivering upskilling sessions and practical HR training for line managers.
• Supporting the HR Manager with a range of site-based and wider group HR projects.
