HR Advisor A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated

  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters
  • Support employee relations processes including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance issues, and flexible working requests
  • Ensure HR processes remain compliant with UK employment legislation and company policies
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of employment contracts, HR letters, and change documentation
  • Support payroll processing and resolve payroll-related queries
  • Manage recruitment activity including job adverts, agency liaison, interview coordination, and onboarding
  • Deliver and support new starter inductions
  • Assist with appraisals, reporting, and performance management processes
  • Analyse time and attendance data, identify trends, and support improvements
  • Support training needs analysis and HR development initiatives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of HR processes
  • Provide administrative support for formal meetings, including note-taking
  • Support health and safety initiatives across the business

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organisation with a strong customer following and an ambitious growth strategy. The successful candidate will provide valuable support across the day-to-day HR function, working closely with managers and employees and gaining exposure to a broad range of HR activities. This is a hands-on role, ideal for an HR professional who has some experience within an HR environment and is looking to develop their knowledge and experience within a growing organisation. You will have the opportunity to support with employee relations, absence management, recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, training, reporting and general HR administration, with scope to gain further exposure as the business continues to grow.

About You:

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic HR professional who is keen to develop their career and gain broader exposure across the HR function.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience working within an HR environment, ideally 1-2 years
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification
  • A good understanding of HR processes and UK employment practices
  • Experience of employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the role
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced and growing environment
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner with the ability to build effective relationships
