Job summary

Vertage Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join our People Team in Manchester or Luton. The role is hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home, and 37.5 hours per week.

You'll manage a broad range of ER cases, advise on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management, and support restructures and TUPE transfers while delivering compliant guidance across multiple business areas.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations casework independently.
• Strong redundancy experience, including consultation processes and organisational change activities.
• ideally practical experience supporting TUPE transfers from planning through to implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.

• Delivering practical, legally compliant advice in line with employment legislation and company policies.
• Supporting manager capability through coaching and training.

Working within a collaborative and highly experienced team, you'll provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to managers and stakeholders across multiple business areas.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

This role requires an established Employee Relations professional who is experienced operating at this level.

You'll bring;

• Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations casework independently.


• Strong redundancy experience, including consultation processes and organisational change activities.


• Ideally practical experience supporting TUPE transfers from planning through to implementation.


• Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.


• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.


• The ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering a high-quality advisory service.


• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.

Experience supporting multiple worker populations, business units or employment types would be highly advantageous.
