Job summary

Vertage Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join our People Team in a hybrid role based in Luton (Manchester office optional).

The position offers 37.5 hours per week and a salary of up to £40,000, with three days in the office and two days at home. You will manage a broad range of ER cases, advise on disciplinary and absence matters, support organisational change, and guide on TUPE transfers and ACAS conciliation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations casework independently.
• Strong redundancy experience with consultation processes and organisational change activities.
• Ideally practical experience supporting TUPE transfers from planning through to implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering a high-quality advisory service.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and redundancy programmes.
• Provide expert guidance on TUPE transfers and consultation processes.

• Build effective relationships with managers and stakeholders to drive positive employee relations outcomes.
• Deliver practical, legally compliant advice in line with employment legislation and company policies.
• Support manager capability through coaching and training.

This is an opportunity for an experienced ER professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex employee relations matters across a diverse workforce. Working within a collaborative and highly experienced team, you'll provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to managers and stakeholders across multiple business areas.

What You'll Be Doing
