Due to continual exponential growth, Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leader within the manufacturing industry based in County Antrim in the recruitment of an experienced HR Advisor.

Reporting into the HR Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the full HR Generalist remit whilst receiving a fantastic pay and benefits package.

What will you do?

Reporting into the HR Manager, you will provide HR Generalist support across the factory and business support services function.

  • Lead and coordinate a seamless recruitment and onboarding process
  • Handle employee relations matters promptly and in accordance with company procedures and employment legislation.
  • Support the design and implementation of the company’s training and development strategy. Contribute to learning programmes including apprenticeships, graduate schemes, work placements, and student internships.
  • Manage the employee exit process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and exit interviews are conducted to gather feedback.
  • Assist in the ongoing development and delivery of the company’s Apprenticeship Scheme,
  • Coordinate employee appraisal processes to help track performance and identify training and development needs.
  • Process employee changes such as transfers, promotions, and role changes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and HR systems (e.g., PeopleHR) are updated accordingly.
  • Provide HR advice to managers and employees on employment terms, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Contribute to the creation, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and business needs.
  • Deliver training sessions to managers to build confidence and competence in people management and the application of HR policies.
  • Carry out regular market benchmarking to ensure the company remains competitive in terms of pay, benefits, and talent attraction, and stays informed about labour market trends.

What will you require?

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Experience in end to end recruitment, employee relations and delivering training
  • Highly competent in NI employment legislation
  • CIPD graduate membership is preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/construction is desirable
