The Civil Aviation Authority, the UK's aviation regulator, is seeking a Human Factors specialist to influence HF strategy and deliver HF action plans. You will develop and apply systems thinking across the CAA, deliver HF training (including Just Culture), and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support safety performance and regulatory compliance.

The role requires HF expertise, experience in safety-critical environments, and strong communication skills.

Qualificações

• Degree or professional level qualification in HF or related area (Psychology, Ergonomics, or similar).
• Experience within a safety critical industry in an HF related role.
• Knowledge of the aviation operating environment.
• Experience of System Safety Assessment theory and practical application such as STAMP/STPA.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and delivery of the CAA HF strategy and action plan.
• Develop and deliver HF training, including Just Culture training.
• Coordinate HF activities across business areas and with external stakeholders.
• Identify HF risks and trends by collaborating with the Intelligence and Safety Performance teams.
• Maintain HF content on external sites and SharePoint.
• Promote a standardized approach to HF issues across the CAA.
