Job summary
Lloyd's Register International is seeking a Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner (Hub Based) in Castle Douglas to provide community-based support. You will deliver 1:1 and group activities, helping individuals set goals and build practical plans for mental health and wellbeing.
The role emphasises a trauma-informed, person-centred, recovery-focused approach, with flexible weekday hours and occasional evenings or weekends.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering one-to-one and group support.
- Ability to build positive relationships in a trauma-informed, recovery-focused way.
- Organised, capable of managing own workload and safe decision-making.
- Desirable SVQ2 in Social Services and Healthcare (Adults) or working towards it.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with people through 1:1 support, group activities and community engagement.
- Help individuals identify achievable goals, develop personal plans and build practical strategies.
- Support mental health and wellbeing in a community setting.
- Typical hours 9am–5pm on weekdays, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
