The position emphasises teamwork, accurate record-keeping, and strong communication with customers and agencies. 33 days leave pro rata and extensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work as part of a compassionate team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with mental health needs to build confidence and reach their potential
• Provide a hands-on, high-quality support service
• Encourage daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community involvement
• Promote social inclusion and help customers develop resilience and self-esteem
• Work with agencies on behalf of customers, encouraging choice and acting as an advocate when needed
• Maintain a safe environment and follow relevant regulations and practices
