Job summary

Bouygues Travaux Publics in the United Kingdom is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Coordinator to provide efficient administrative support to the HSW team on the Lower Thames Crossing project.

You will maintain accurate HSW records, collate data, prepare reports and coordinate meetings, liaising with operations, subcontractors and clients to ensure compliance with H&S legislation and data protection requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Health & Safety role within construction.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relevant to construction.
• Proficient in MS Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HSW records, databases, incident logs and filing systems, ensuring documentation is secure and accessible.
• Manage confidential health, safety and wellbeing information in line with procedures and data protection requirements.
• Collate, record and analyse data relating to incidents, accidents, near misses and safety observations.
• Produce clear and timely reports for operational teams, senior management and client reporting.
• Coordinate HSW communications, safety briefings, toolbox talks, notices and alerts.
• Organise HSW meetings including logistics, materials and follow-up actions.
• Monitor shared mailboxes, respond to routine HSW enquiries and act as a point of contact for administrative HSW matters.
• Support investigations, action tracking and secure collation of data for insurance claims.
• Liaise with operations, subcontractors, clients and training teams to support HSW coordination.
• Assist the HSW Lead with day-to-day administration, coordination and continuous improvement initiatives.
