Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join the Highways Connect Plus Services team. The role covers multiple M25 site offices with travel across the network; a company car is provided.

Key duties include day-to-day guidance for HSW advisors, championing HSW, implementing standards locally, and reporting on safety performance. Ideal candidates will have IOSH, NEBOSH, CSCS, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Membership of a relevant professional body (IOSH) required.
• Professional health and safety qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).
• CSCS card holder.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management, guidance and mentoring to HSW advisors.
• Be a visible champion for HSW across the project with operatives and managers.
• Oversee local implementation of HSW standards and feedback to HSW Managers.
• Monitor communications to keep HSW on the operational delivery agenda.
