Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join the Power Transmission and Distribution team in Scotland. The role is based at Maxim office, Eurocentral, with regular site visits across Central and Southern Scotland and mobile working as required.

You will drive HS&W performance, promote a positive safety culture, and support the SPEN portfolio to achieve Zero Harm objectives while maintaining high standards of health, safety and wellbeing across projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK H&S regulatory framework.
• Experience with complex construction projects.
• Ability to prepare formal HS&W reports.
• Willingness to travel across Central & Southern Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of UK HS&W strategy and action plans.
• Assist in HS&W KPI delivery at project and business level.
• Provide expert HS&W responses for bids and PQQs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses following standards.
