Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to support the Power Transmission & Distribution team across the UK. The role leads three Advisors in Wales, North Wessex Downs and London, offering mentoring, coaching and professional support while travelling weekly.

The role combines site visits, regional travel and home working, with a company car and travel expenses covered. You will drive HS&W improvements, investigate incidents and support bids with robust HS&W

Qualifications

• Relevant HS qualifications with on-site experience required.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Strong understanding of UK Health and Safety regulatory framework.
• Ability to influence and promote a positive HS&W culture.

Responsibilities

• Implement Zero Harm strategy with leadership to embed health focus.
• Provide expert HS&W advice and support to project teams.
• Engage with customers and supply chain to promote zero harm delivery.
• Draft local, risk-based SLAs and review quarterly for UK HS&W compliance.
