Job summary

ONFAB is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) Manager to lead compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement across our business. Based in Middlewich, you will drive safety, quality and performance in manufacturing and operations.

You will report to the General Manager and promote best practice, manage risk and ensure ISO 9001 standards are maintained, with a hands-on, proactive approach to improvements and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HSQE, Quality or Health & Safety management in manufacturing
• Background in engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience with ISO 9001 systems and audits
• Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
• Proactive hands-on approach to continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and quality culture across the business
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation
• Manage risk assessments, audits, inspections and investigations
• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Develop policies, procedures and training programmes
• Analyse performance data and drive improvements
• Support customer, supplier and regulatory audits
• Provide expert advice to managers across the business
