Job summary

Premier Work Support in Medway Towns is seeking an experienced HSQE Manager to lead health, safety, quality and environmental activities. This stand-alone role gives you full ownership of the HSQE function across the business, with independence to shape policies and drive compliance in a manufacturing environment.

You will audit production, inspect equipment, assess risks, develop training and maintain ISO14001/9001 and HSE documentation for audits, including RIDDOR records.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is essential.
• IT literacy with basic Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Auditing production and monitoring unsafe behaviour or breaches in regulations.
• Inspecting production equipment and processes to ensure they are safe.
• Assessing risks and potential safety hazards across operations.
• Creating and implementing health and safety training plans.
• Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policies.
• Maintaining ISO14001, ISO9001 and HSE documentation for audits.
• Producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments for site installations.
• Maintaining RIDDOR records and KPI's.
• Managing the Health & Safety Committee and meetings.
• Inducing new starters on health and safety practices.
• Managing maintenance contracts for equipment with safety requirements.
