Job summary

Enva is seeking an HSQE Advisor at the Stourbridge site to support the HSQE Manager and management team in maintaining and improving health, safety, quality and environmental systems. You will provide practical day-to-day HSQE support across transport and processing operations to ensure safe, compliant work practices.

The role involves inspections, risk assessments, audits and incident investigations, promoting a positive HSQE culture and delivering training to personnel at all levels.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent; experience with risk assessments and documentation.
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Good knowledge of HSE legislation.
• Experience of delivering training to personnel at all levels.
• Experience in conducting audits and inspections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation.
• Analytical mindset with ability to analyse data and propose actions.
• Problem-solving and proactive attitude.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide practical day-to-day HSQE support to managers, supervisors and staff at Stourbridge.
• Support ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 system maintenance and improvement.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety observations and HSQE audits.
• Assist with risk assessments, safe systems of work and SOPs.
• Monitor safety controls for machinery, transport and hazardous substances.
• Support investigations of accidents and near misses with root cause analysis.
• Assist with environmental compliance and waste handling.
• Maintain emergency arrangements and spill response planning.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and accreditation activities.
• Support regulatory visits and ensure HSQE data is available.
