Job summary

Enva Group is seeking a dedicated HSQE Advisor for the Stourbridge site to support health, safety, quality and environmental management. You will work with operations, engineering and management to identify risks in waste handling and processing, implement controls and drive continual improvement.

You will lead inspections, audits and investigations, delivering HSQE training and contributing to a positive safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) as a minimum, experience with risk assessments and procedural documentation.
• Experience and knowledge in incident investigation and root causal analysis.
• Good knowledge of HSE legislation.
• Evidence of practical audit/inspection experience.
• Experience of delivering training to personnel of all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and to plan and manage own agenda.
• Logical in approach with the ability to analyse data and formulate action plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical day-to-day HSQE support and advice to managers, supervisors and employees across the Stourbridge site, including Transport, pre-pick, SDA and compressor processing operations.
• Support the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the company's Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Carry out regular workplace inspections, behavioural safety observations and HSQE audits, ensuring actions are recorded and followed through to completion.
• Support development and review of risk assessments, safe systems of work, SOPs and other controls, especially with new plant or changes.
• Monitor effectiveness of safety controls including machinery guarding, transport, hazardous substances, refrigerants, pressure systems and fire prevention measures.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis, including corrective/preventive actions.
• Assist with environmental compliance across the site, waste handling, spill response, emissions and permit requirements.
• Plan and support internal/external audits, inspections and accreditation activities.
