Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Regional HSQE Advisor to support multiple projects on a regional site basis in the UK. You will conduct inspections, audits and NCR management, driving HSQE improvements and ensuring CDM compliance across the site teams.

You will work closely with the HSQE Manager, Project Management and regional leaders to promote a positive HSQE culture, lead incident investigations and deliver monthly HSQE reporting.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Level 3–6 (or equivalent) required.
• IOSH membership or active membership encouraged.
• IEMA Practitioner or higher membership preferred.
• Mental Health First Aider certification is essential.
• First Aid training is required.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Strong report writing ability and incident investigation experience.
• IT literate with experience using MS 365 and HSQE systems.

Responsibilities

• Minimum two general site audits per week and address NCRs with PMs.
• Conduct targeted inspections weekly and raise NCRs as needed.
• Contribute to HSQE activity and feedback weekly with the region team.
• Maintain diaries and plan site visits, sharing plans with HSQE Manager.
• Record reviews on the document review form and RAMS acceptance docs.
• Lead on RAMS reviews and keep HSQE admin updated.
• Participate in weekly catch‑ups with Advisor and Regional PM.
• Lead monthly HSQE reporting with the HSQE Advisor and Regional Board.
• Attend weekly/biweekly site team calls and input HSQE matters.
• Act as first point of contact for HSQE matters for operational teams.
• Investigate incidents with the HSQE Manager for serious events.
• Stop work when unsafe and document safe corrective actions.
• Support CDM documentation reviews and promote HSQE culture.
• Ensure NCRs and contributions close within set timescales.
• Escalate non-conformances using Aureos management system.
