Job summary

Enva is seeking an HSQE Advisor to support the HSQE Manager and Stourbridge management in maintaining and continually improving health, safety, quality and environmental management arrangements.

You will provide practical, day-to-day HSQE support across Transport and processing operations, helping ensure work is carried out safely and in compliance with company procedures and environmental permits.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent and practical risk assessments.
• Experience in incident investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Good knowledge of HSE legislation and standards.
• Proven audit/inspection experience.
• Experience delivering training to varied personnel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical day-to-day HSQE support and advice to managers, supervisors and employees across the Stourbridge site.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety observations and HSQE audits with timely corrective actions.
• Assist in developing risk assessments, safe systems of work and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor safety controls for processing plant, machinery guarding and process safety measures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with environmental compliance including waste handling and permits.
• Contribute to emergency response planning and incident management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to findings.
