Enva is seeking a SHEQ Advisor for the Stourbridge site to support the HSQE Manager and management team in maintaining and improving health, safety, quality and environmental systems. The role covers day-to-day HSQE activities across transport and processing operations, ensuring compliance with permits and legislation.

You will conduct inspections, audits and risk assessments, support training delivery and manage incident investigations, driving a positive HSQE culture and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Good knowledge of HSE legislation and compliant practices.
• Evidence of practical audits/inspections.
• Experience delivering training to personnel at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong planning abilities.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven action planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical day-to-day HSQE support and advice to managers and staff at the Stourbridge site across operations.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of HSQE management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
• Carry out regular inspections, safety observations and HSQE audits with follow-up actions.
• Assist with risk assessments, safe systems of work and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor safety controls for plant and processes, including PPE and fire prevention measures.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis, implementing corrective actions.
• Support environmental compliance including waste handling and permit requirements.
• Coordinate HSQE training, toolbox talks and safety communications for staff.
• Maintain HSQE records and assist with external audits and regulator visits.
• Promote a positive HSQE culture and proactive reporting of hazards and near misses.
