Job summary

Premier Work Support seeks an HSQE Manager to own all health, safety, quality and environmental aspects for the business in the Medway Towns. You will act as the main HSQE contact, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices, and guiding implementation across operations.

You will audit production, develop training plans, maintain ISO standards, and manage incident records. This is a standalone, hands-on role requiring independent work, strong communication, and meticulous

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Health and Safety/HSQE role.
• Experience in a stand-alone position.
• Engineering/technical experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Audit production and monitor unsafe behaviour or breaches.
• Inspect production equipment and processes for safety.
• Assess risks and hazards across operations.
• Create and implement health and safety training plans.
• Prepare health and safety strategies and internal policies.
• Manage accident records and investigate incidents.
• Maintain ISO14001, ISO9001 and HSE documentation.
• Produce method statements and risk assessments for site work.
• Maintain RIDDOR records and KPI tracking.
• Lead Health & Safety Committee meetings and inductions.
• Manage maintenance contracts for equipment with safety requirements.
