Health Safety Environmental and Quality Manager

+ up to 7.5% bonus (O.T.E £55,900) + Benefits (Including 11% matched pension)

I am partnering with Zip Pak, part of the ITW group, a $16bn turnover business operating globally, to find a new QHSE Manager for their Whitby site. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known global company.

Key responsibilities

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing
• Leading internal and external audits (customer and supplier)
• Maintaining ISO accreditations
• Implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems
• Collaborating with production management to ensure adherence to quality and HSE procedures
• Promoting safety culture and awareness
• Managing Near Miss/Safety Catch programs
• Conducting risk assessments and developing safety procedures
• Designing and delivering H&S training
• Chairing Quality and H&S meetings
• Updating quality procedures and product specifications
• Supporting complaint investigations and customer questionnaires
• Ensuring ISO 9001, 14001 compliance
• Performing internal and supplier audits
• Coordinating with site engineers on PPM procedures
• Maintaining certification with ISO and other authorities
• Reviewing and updating HS&E and ISO procedures and legislation
• Managing PPE requirements
• Leading teams through coaching, mentoring, and communication
• Supervising team members
