Overview

Caddick Construction is a family-owned business renowned for quality, integrity, and innovation in the construction sector. We are seeking an experienced HS&E Manager to join our team for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of extension to a full-time position. The HS&E Manager will be based on-site at projects around Middlesbrough & Newton Aycliffe and will support stakeholders to achieve the highest levels of HS&E performance. This role involves working closely with project teams and supply chain members to provide high-quality HS&E support. What You’ll Do

  1. Provide high levels of HS&E support and advice to assigned projects.
  2. Identify and escalate resource issues that could pose HS&E risks.
  3. Support the implementation and embedding of company-wide HS&E strategy objectives.
  4. Influence and support project personnel to lead and engage in HS&E activities.
  5. Promote and help create a positive HS&E reporting culture.
  6. Monitor and drive project HS&E performance against company metrics.
  7. Support project compliance with company HS&E policies.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience

  1. Member of IOSH, working towards Chartered Status.
  2. Experience providing HS&E support to complex Construction or Civil Engineering projects.
  3. Competent understanding and ability to apply root cause analysis.
  4. Strong communication and influencing skills.
  5. A proactive approach to learning and development.
