Job summary

NRL in Teesside is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Manager to oversee HSEQ across multiple UK projects. The role involves maintaining robust management systems and promoting continuous improvement.

You will lead onsite audits, drive compliance with OHSAS 45001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015, and mentor project teams while coordinating with clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HSEQ management within construction or engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory HSEQ compliance.
• Experience managing multiple sites with consistent application of HSEQ protocols.
• Excellent communication and leadership, with client-facing confidence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination and delivery of HSEQ requirements across several operational sites.
• Manage and maintain company HSE management systems aligned with OHSAS 45001:2018.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and drive ongoing process improvements.
• Lead and participate in client-facing meetings, promoting collaborative and transparent communication.
• Monitor and review on-site HSEQ performance to support a safe and efficient working environment.
• Provide guidance to project teams and subcontractors to maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Support continuous development of policies and procedures to align with current legislation.
• Act as the focal point for all HSEQ matters within the organisation.
