About ISS

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we have won a major new Government client, with the account due to go live in Autumn 2025. We will provide Engineering, Cleaning, Sustainability, and other services across the client's large and complex UK estate.

Given the complexity of the account, a strong mobilisation phase is required, including ensuring from an HSEQ perspective that the work is ready to be delivered by the go-live date.

Working with another HSEQ professional, you will collaborate with the client and account team to gather HSEQ requirements and ensure the account is prepared to meet them, so all operatives understand how to work safely.

Once the account goes live, this role is very likely to become permanent, focusing on traditional HSEQ across the account delivery.

We are also open to considering applicants seeking an 8-month FTC only.

No experience of mobilisations needed; we are seeking a qualified HSEQ professional well-versed in live facilities.

You will join an exciting team with a new HSEQ system scheduled for rollout in the summer.

Key Actions:

1. Support, coach, and mentor operational teams on HSEQ matters, providing competent advice.
2. Facilitate the successful deployment of the HSEQ mobilisation plan.
3. Identify significant risk areas within the mobilisation plan.
4. Engage with Global and UK&I campaigns and initiatives, including Safe Choice, Global HSE programmes, and Wellbeing.
5. Interact with third parties such as Local Authorities, HSE, and Environment Agency.
6. Work closely and flexibly with other HSEQ team members to ensure success.
7. Focus on tasks within your responsibility and coordinate with other stakeholders.
8. Utilize business reporting tools like Insight to identify risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
