Job summary

Metlen Energy and Metals seeks an HSE Site Supervisor to support its M Renewables Division across the United Kingdom. You will coordinate health, safety and environmental activities on Solar PV and BESS projects, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and promoting a proactive safety culture on site.

Reporting to the HSE Manager and Country Manager, you will lead site HSE activities, review RAMS, carry out investigations, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with subcontractors,

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate is mandatory.
• 3–5 years Health & Safety experience in construction, civil engineering, utilities, EPC or renewables.
• Experience on Solar PV, BESS, substations or energy infra projects desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of UK H&S legislation including CDM 2015.
• Experience coordinating subcontractor HSE on live construction sites.
• RAMS, Safe Systems of Work and Permit-to-Work experience.
• First Aider with 3-Day First Aid at Work + Defibrillator.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HSE activities across UK projects, reporting to HSE Manager/Country Manager.
• Lead or support investigations into incidents and near misses.
• Review PCI, RAMS and Safe Systems of Work for subcontractors.
• Promote site safety through inductions, toolbox talks and briefings.
• Prepare HSE reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
