Job summary

Aureos Infrastructure Services Limited, on behalf of Taylor Woodrow / Aureos JV, seeks an Assistant HSE Advisor for the Washwood Heath Depot HS2 project in the United Kingdom. You will support the implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems and ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is essential.
• 1-2 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in infrastructure, construction or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of HSE principles, legislation, and management systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and review of HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the delivery of HSE training and induction programs for employees and contractors.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Participate in risk assessments and the development of risk mitigation strategies.
• Promote a positive safety culture through effective communication and engagement with all personnel.
• Support the HSE Manager/Advisor in all aspects of HSE management.
• Stay updated on relevant HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
