Aureos seeks an Assistant HSE Advisor to support HSE management across the Washwood Heath Depot for HS2. You will help implement policies, conduct site inspections, and assist training to promote a positive safety culture on-site in Birmingham.

Ideal candidates have NEBOSH General Certificate and 1–2 years’ experience in HSE within infrastructure or heavy industry, with strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency. A driving licence may be required.

Qualificações

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent recognized HSE qualification is essential.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an HSE role within infrastructure, construction, or heavy industry sectors.
• Strong understanding of HSE principles, legislation, and management systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the development, implementation, and review of HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Support investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the delivery of HSE training and induction programs for employees and contractors.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Participate in risk assessments and development of risk mitigation strategies.
• Promote a positive safety culture through effective communication and engagement with all personnel.
• Support the HSE Manager/Advisor in all aspects of HSE management.
• Stay updated on relevant HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
