An automotive component manufacturer undergoing positive changes requires an additional HSE Manager to provide environmental health and safety guidance across business units. The ideal candidate will have experience in a large automotive manufacturing environment with thorough knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Redditch, Leamington Spa, Stratford Upon Avon

Package: £60,000 - £70,000 p.a. + Car allowance + 6/8% pension match + Family Bupa

Suitable for: Health & Safety Manager, H&S Manager, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

Duration: 18 months fixed-term contract

The Role

Reporting to the HSE Director, your duties will include:

- Managing the Health and Safety budget.
- Preparing and presenting Health & Safety reports to the board.
- Participating in the commissioning of new buildings.
- Working with plant EHS Coordinators to ensure compliance and good manufacturing practices.

The Person

Educated to degree level in a Health & Safety discipline, with:

- Extensive experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Excellent knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001, with familiarity with IATF 16949.
- Strong multitasking abilities and IT skills.
