Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a proactive HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental matters at the Leicester site, part of Taylor Hobson. You will drive the HSE management system, improve safety culture, and guide site improvement projects in alignment with AMETEK standards.

You will also be responsible for facilities management, including maintenance, compliance, contractor oversight and budget stewardship, while ensuring training and emergency procedures are up to date.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as an HSE Manager in manufacturing/production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach leadership to improve safety culture and non‑compliance.
• Develop and implement HSE policies aligned with site and company strategy.
• Act as SME on HSE issues and liaison with external regulators.
• Maintain HSE management structure to drive safety performance and risk reduction.
• Manage safety communications, reporting and monthly EHS briefings.
• Ensure compliance through risk assessments, audits and site inspections.
• Lead investigations (root cause) for significant incidents and implement actions.
• Oversee fire safety, RAMS, asbestos, and contractor management.
• Ensure training for employees on HSE topics and emergency procedures.
• Develop and deliver environmental training and ISO 14001 responsibilities.
• Oversee site facilities maintenance, budget, and CAPEX.
