Job summary

Vickerstock, in partnership with a leading manufacturing organisation, is recruiting an HSE Compliance Officer to join the Compliance team. Qualifications

• Degree or relevant experience in HSE
• Practical understanding of health & safety, environmental compliance or risk management
• Ability to identify workplace hazards and assess risk
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication across departments and teams
• Willingness to travel between Enniskillen and Dungannon sites

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, internal policies and industry standards
• Develop and review risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and supporting HSE documentation
• Carry out compliance assessments and identify opportunities to improve HSE performance
• Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and corrective actions
• Support environmental compliance, licences and reporting
• Collate and analyse environmental and sustainability performance data
• Support initiatives to measure and reduce carbon emissions
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on environmental compliance matters
• Deliver inductions and training on HSE topics
• Work with operational teams on HSE matters
• Maintain records of compliance activities and investigations
• Support continuous improvement across Health, Safety and Environmental performance
