Job summary

MCS Group are recruiting a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer for our client, a leading manufacturing business. You will support the HSE Manager and drive continuous improvement, maintaining ISO 45001/14001 aligned systems and contributing to audits and training.

Ideal candidates will have NEBOSH, 1+ years HSE experience, and strong knowledge of H&S legislation, risk management, and incident investigations. Manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and risk management.
• ISO 45001 experience; ISO 14001 desirable.
• Experience with audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Manufacturing, engineering or industrial experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the HSE Manager in delivering HSE policies and objectives.
• Maintain HSE systems in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Lead risk assessments and support incident investigations.
• Deliver HSE inductions, training and safety communications.
