Anderson Knight is recruiting for an experienced and proactive HSE Business Partner to support our client's engineering projects across the Central Belt. You will work closely with site teams, contractors, and management to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Safety Oversight: Conduct regular site inspections and audits for civil engineering projects to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
2. Risk Management: Assist in identifying hazards, evaluating risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them within civil engineering projects.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regional, national, and international health, safety, and environmental laws and standards relevant to civil engineering works.
4. Reporting & Investigation: Manage the reporting and investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
5. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of HSE inspections, audits, safety statistics, and incident reports. Prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
6. Health & Environmental Programs: Support the development and implementation of environmental protection and worker health programs to minimize risks associated with civil engineering work.

Qualifications

NEBOSH or IOSH (minimum), with additional civil engineering or HSE certifications such as HAZOP, Construction Health & Safety, ISO 45001 being advantageous.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in an HSE role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
