The Health & Safety Business Partner is responsible for providing professional health and safety support to operational sites across the North East. This includes managing health and safety systems, communications, assurance programmes, and delivering health and safety projects.

Your core responsibilities

• Partner the business to deliver the vision, mission, and business plan for Health & Safety
• Provide expert advice to implement effective H&S risk controls
• Use specialist knowledge to provide assurance to stakeholders
• Educate, communicate, and train on H&S topics
• Develop and implement H&S improvement plans with operational colleagues
• Use the TopSet methodology for incident investigations to promote organisational learning
• Analyze data to provide insights that help reduce workplace harm
• Stay updated on H&S legislation through continuous professional development

Qualifications & Experience

• A recognised NEBOSH qualification and professional status
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels
