Job summary

Morson Edge seeks a Health & Safety Advisor to join a major Nuclear New Build Project in the South West. You will work within a team of safety professionals, delivering technical guidance and day-to-day risk-based activities to sustain high safety standards across warehousing and logistics interfaces.

The role requires significant HSE experience on large projects, NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications, and the ability to coordinate across multiple contractors.

Qualifications

• Significant HSE experience within a large project setting.
• Experience in Logistics/Freight/Warehousing OR construction environment is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of achieving excellent safety results.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations is desirable.
• Solid knowledge/understanding of national and international HSE standards.
• Experience coordinating between contractors to resolve interface issues across complex operations.
• Qualification in NEBOSH and/or IOSH is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creating and maintaining health and safety standards across the project.
• Influence multi-disciplinary teams on health and safety issues during pre-construction and evolution.
• Develop project-based HSE risk profiles to direct inspections and assurance.
• Provide assurance that designers and principal contractors comply with CDM 2015.
• Undertake inspections, investigations, keep records and write reports.
• Coordinate information for H&S reports and identify trends with actions.
• Provide training and information on H&S management systems.
• Proactively create programmes to underpin zero tolerance to HSE issues.
