Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking an HS&E Advisor to support the Framework HS&E Manager in delivering health, safety and environmental excellence across projects in the Thames Water region.

You will implement HS&E strategy, ensure compliance with management systems and legislation, and drive continuous improvement while working closely with operational teams from planning through to completion.

Qualifications

• Relevant HS&E experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities or similar sectors.
• NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or working towards).
• Strong understanding of HS&E legislation, management systems and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of HS&E strategy across the framework and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical HS&E advice and guidance to operational and site teams.
• Ensure effective implementation of the HS&E Management System in line with requirements.
• Engage with clients, supply chain partners and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor HS&E performance through KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
