Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking an energetic HS&E Advisor to join our Environment division in the UK, covering Kent and surrounding areas. You will support delivery of the Health, Safety and Environmental strategy across multiple projects and frameworks, working with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners to achieve high safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Knowledge of HS&E legislation, management systems and risk management.
• Experience supporting projects through planning, design and construction phases.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across projects and offices.

Responsibilities

• Review key project documentation including Construction Phase Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and HS&E management documentation.
• Support operational teams in implementing safe systems of work and environmental controls.
• Provide practical guidance throughout the project lifecycle from planning and design through to construction and completion.
• Conduct workplace inspections, site safety and environmental audits.
• Investigate incidents and non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
