Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking a Senior HS&E Advisor to support the Framework HS&E Manager across health, safety and environmental aspects. You will lead a team of HS&E Advisors, ensuring projects meet exemplary standards and drive continual improvement.

You will implement HS&E strategy and the Business Management System, collaborating with clients, regulators and the supply chain. This role offers development toward a Framework HS&E Manager position and requires travel across Grangemouth,

Qualifications

• Extensive HS&E experience in infrastructure, water or regulated environments.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership in HS&E.
• Experience in HS&E management, systems and risk management.
• Delivery of HS&E support across project lifecycles.
• Experience developing and delivering learning programmes.
• Strong understanding of culture change and organisational development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building, influencing and engagement abilities.
• Structured, systematic problem solving and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to HS&E Advisors and support the Framework HS&E Manager.
• Deliver a first-class HS&E service to clients and operations, meeting high standards.
• Implement HS&E strategy and Business Management System across the Framework.
• Act as deputy to Framework HS&E Manager when required for development.
• Provide technical guidance to line and site management on HS&E matters.
• Engage with clients, regulators, supply chain and colleagues on HS&E topics.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes and recommendations.
• Maintain HS&E KPIs, review performance and drive improvements.
• Coach and develop HS&E Advisors; support career progression.
