Job summary

USS Investment Management Limited in Liverpool is seeking an HRIS Implementation Manager to coordinate and drive the multi-module HRIS transformation programme. You will oversee day-to-day implementation management, design and migration activities, training readiness and change delivery, working closely with the Head of HR Operations & Transformation, PM, SMEs and other key team members.

The role requires hands-on delivery across HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Reward and Learning, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex HRIS or HCM implementations.
• Experience managing multi-module HR technology programmes.
• End-to-end project delivery, including configuration, testing, data migration, training and go-live.
• Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes and operating models.
• Ability to coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery across multiple HRIS workstreams to keep milestones on track.
• Design and optimise future-state HR processes with BA/SMEs.
• Oversee data cleansing, mapping, and migration for HRIS replacement.
• Lead system configuration, testing cycles, and user acceptance readiness.
• Deliver train-the-trainer initiatives and support knowledge transfer.
• Drive change readiness and stakeholder engagement across the programme.
