Job summary

B&Q Southampton is seeking a HR Systems and Data Manager to lead the People systems, data, MI and automation agenda. You will partner with People, B&Q Technology, Kingfisher Group Technology, BI and Data Governance to shape requirements and deliver controlled, scalable data solutions that drive decisions.

You will own data governance and data quality, translate operational needs into system requirements, and champion practical insight across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate specialist teams.
• Strong partnership and influencing across People, Technology, Data, Insight, Governance.
• Translate operational needs into clear requirements, priorities and evidence-based recommendations.
• Clear communicator, able to explain systems, data, MI and control issues in plain English.
• Highly numerate and analytical, with data literacy and practical insight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People Systems & Data team and build capability and resilience.
• Develop and maintain the People Systems & Data plan and demand view.
• Collaborate with People, B&Q Technology, Kingfisher Tech to join up systems, data flows and MI.
• Translate business needs into clear system, data and MI requirements and controls.
• Own system and data acceptance and readiness before changes go live.
• Maintain data quality governance and issue resolution.
