Job summary

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays in Leeds are offering an HR Systems Apprentice role, progressing to a Level 3 Digital Support Technician over 13-15 months. You will provide system administration and coordination support to the HR Systems Team, helping maintain data accuracy and deliver timely reports.

This apprenticeship blends hands-on technical tasks with structured learning, including incident management, system testing, and user onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4).
• Must have been a resident in the UK for 3 years.
• Must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
• Demonstrates strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems/technology.
• Proactive, can-do attitude and good interpersonal skills.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Systems Team with administrative tasks including resolving system incident tickets.
• Assist with system testing and maintenance activities for updates.
• Run regular and ad-hoc reports for managers and senior leaders.
• Maintain data accuracy across HR and Recruitment Systems.
• Create new user accounts to support onboarding.
• Provide system-based HR queries support for colleagues.

Job description

Working as our HR Systems Apprentice, you’ll work towards a Level 3 Digital Support Technician over 13-15 months. You’ll provide system administration and co-ordination to support to the HR Systems Team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the HR Systems Team with administrative tasks, including resolving system incident tickets.
• Assist with system testing and critical maintenance activities for system updates.
• Run regular and ad‑hoc reports for managers and Senior Leaders across Jet2.com & Jet2holidays.
• Maintain data accuracy across both the HR and Recruitment Systems.
• Create new user accounts across all HR Systems to support employee onboarding.
• Provide support to colleagues across the business with HR System queries.
• Assist with the performance management process managed within the HR System.
• Collaborate with the Senior HR Systems and Business Transformation Manager on new initiatives and improvements.
• Develop and maintain HR system documentation, including user manuals, process maps, system configurations, and training materials.
