Job Description Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for executing multiple HR processes and supporting the HR team across all HR service categories, including onboarding, offboarding, Workday data maintenance, reporting, metrics, and more. You will develop an in-depth, end-to-end knowledge of company HR operations systems and processes. This role emphasizes data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions, while providing coverage and support as needed. You will identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvements. The goal is to promote "Best in Class" service by developing effective relationships and working cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Respond to employee and HR service ticket requests, process transactions into HR systems, and manage escalations and inquiries. Lead Service Delivery teams or manage operations related to reporting, employee data management, lifecycle management, HR systems help desk, business relations, and escalations, specifically for Shared Service teams.
- Broaden knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within your discipline to execute policies and strategies; continue developing functional knowledge and skills.
- Understand key business drivers to accomplish your work effectively. Recognize how your team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall area.
- Make decisions within a defined framework with some autonomy. Resolve issues requiring good judgment and knowledge within established procedures. Consult senior team members for issues outside of policy or parameters.
- Develop strong interpersonal skills, especially in customer-facing roles. Build customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE. Communicate technical information clearly to others.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside the USA: Basic experience in Human Resources and HR Operations Service Delivery. Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- For roles within the USA: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in relevant Job Family Groups or Functions.
