Pertemps is seeking an experienced HR Senior Advisor for a fully remote UK role. You will partner with managers and employees across the UK, handling employee relations, onboarding, performance management and HR compliance within a multinational environment.

This position offers strong progression opportunities toward HR Manager or HRBP roles, with continuous professional development and close collaboration with regional and global HR teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in HR, Business, or related discipline.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR environment, Advisor level or above.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert HR support across the UK business, partnering with managers and employees on a wide range of people-related matters.
  • Advise on employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
  • Support investigations, hearings, and resolution of ER issues.
  • Ensure HR policies remain compliant with employment legislation.
  • Assist with payroll administration, benefits coordination, and employee documentation.
  • Support performance review processes and career development initiatives.
  • Drive learning, development, and employee engagement programmes.
  • Produce HR reports and people metrics for stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees across the organisation.

The Role

As an HR Senior Advisor, you'll provide expert HR support across the UK business, partnering with managers and employees on a wide range of people-related matters. You'll work closely with regional and global HR colleagues to deliver proactive, commercially focused HR solutions while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

This is a broad and varied role encompassing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, and people development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Provide expert advice to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
  • Support investigations, hearings, and resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with employment legislation.
  • Assist with payroll administration, benefits coordination, and employee documentation.

About You

You’ll be an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering a first‑class employee experience.

We're Looking For
  • Proven experience within a generalist HR environment, ideally at Advisor level or above.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and practical case management experience.
  • Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within a corporate or multinational business.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience using HR systems and HRIS platforms.
