Job summary

Hutchison Ports UK in Felixstowe is seeking an HR Administrator to deliver recruitment administration and support end-to-end hiring from vacancy approval through onboarding. You will work with hiring managers, candidates and the HR team to coordinate interviews, publish adverts, manage communications, and complete pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, recruitment or administrative environment.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate records and data.
• Effective written and verbal communication with colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment administration, including advertising vacancies, candidate communications, interview scheduling, compliance checks, onboarding and pre-employment screening.
• Support employee relations and transactional HR processes by preparing documentation and maintaining records.
• Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records, ensuring GDPR compliance and data protection.
• Proactively resolve issues in HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide professional first-line HR support.
• Contribute to employment market engagement and early careers activities when required.
