HAIL Partners Limited in London seeks a People Operations Lead to join their team, owning the employee lifecycle end to end across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa within a lean, hands-on regional team.

You will lead day-to-day People Operations for EMEA, manage global mobility, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration and offboarding, and partner with local stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient processes while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations.
• Global mobility experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Financial services background preferred, or fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of SMCR and Remuneration Code advantageous.
• Hands-on, operational approach with strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day People Operations for EMEA across onboarding, changes, mobility, payroll inputs, benefits and offboarding.
• Drive international relocations and assignments coordinating with employees, stakeholders and vendors.
• Oversee onboarding including background checks, right-to-work and SMCR HR aspects.
• Act as escalation point for complex queries and time-sensitive issues.
• Partner with US Compensation and Benefits teams to apply local remuneration requirements.
• Produce monthly KRI reporting for EMEA committees and support audits/regulatory requests.
• Challenge and simplify processes, strengthen controls and manage vendors.
• Lead HR elements of regional projects such as new office openings.

HAIL Partners is working with a Global Investment Management firm who are seeking a People Operations Lead to join their London team. The role covers the firm’s offices across Europe and the Middle East, owning the employee lifecycle end to end within a lean, hands-on regional team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day People Operations for EMEA across onboarding, employee changes, global mobility, payroll inputs, benefits administration and offboarding
• Drive international relocations and assignments, coordinating with employees, internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Manage EMEA onboarding, including background screening, right-to-work and the HR aspects of the SMCR Certification process
• Act as the escalation point for complex employee queries, process exceptions and time-sensitive issues
• Partner with US-based Compensation and Benefits teams and local providers, ensuring local remuneration requirements are applied to offers and employee changes
• Produce monthly KRI reporting for EMEA Operating Committees and support audits and regulatory requests
• Challenge and simplify existing processes, strengthen controls and hold vendors to account
• Lead the HR elements of regional projects, such as new office openings

Role Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience in People Operations, HR Operations or an operational HR Manager / HRBP role
• Global mobility experience and exposure to supporting multiple European jurisdictions
• Financial services background preferred, though candidates from other fast-paced environments will be considered
• Knowledge of SMCR and the Remuneration Code is advantageous
• Hands-on and operational, with the confidence to question processes and bring new ideas
• Strong relationship builder who can engage with stakeholders across the business
