Job summary

Ground Control is seeking a capable People Advisor to join the expanding People team in the North of England. The role focuses on practical HR work, resolving employee relations cases and providing timely support to managers, ensuring consistent and positive employee experiences.

You will work closely with a People Business Partner, handle day-to-day queries, and contribute to broader HR processes while developing your advisory expertise within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior HR or People advisory experience.
• Ability to manage employee relations cases and day-to-day queries.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support managers with performance, conduct, and absence matters.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Respond to queries relating to People policies and procedures.
• Draft letters and HR correspondence.
• Assist with TUPE transfers and business change activity.
