Howard James Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established, multi-site organisation with the appointment of a Regional HR Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking for a varied regional role where they can make a genuine impact. Reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner, you will provide practical HR advice and support to managers across multiple sites throughout the North.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted HR partner, supporting managers with employee relations, ensuring consistency in HR processes and helping to develop confident and capable managers.
This is a hands-on HR position, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams and is comfortable managing a varied workload. You will provide day-to-day advice on a range of HR matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance issues, whilst coaching managers through the appropriate processes.
You will also play an important role in ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently across all locations, identifying opportunities for improvement and sharing best practice across the wider HR team.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of UK employment law and practical experience supporting employee relations matters within an operational or multi-site environment.
You will be confident working with managers at all levels and able to provide clear, pragmatic advice whilst maintaining a professional and commercially focused approach. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Ideally, you will hold CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience and have a good understanding of HR best practice. You should also be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role involves travel between multiple sites across the North.
